AAAAAHHHHCCCCHOO!!!! Sneezy group is now on the TRACK!!!! Day 13 has passed and Yosemite was ABSOLUTELY beautiful!!

This morning we woke up to Matt’s DELIGHTFUL voice around 5:45 and packed our bags to leave San Francisco! Under the cover of the fog, which the locals have named Karl, we made our way out of the hilly streets, towards the Mountains of YOSEMITE.

Our first stop was WALLYWORRRLDDD (TWB’s go-to)!!!!! This is where our day got started!
We found our sleeper of the day dozing right outside of Wal-Mart.......Jess Dulin was out for a good 10 minutes just like this.
We were pleasantly surprised when the cooks brought out DELICIOUS breakfast strudels (both blueberry AND lemon)!!! Plus, blueberries and apples! This was a PHENOMENAL change from the usual AM pop-tarts.
Once we got on the bus and vans, everyone got really comfortable (AKA almost everyone was asleep).
After approximately “2 hours” on Carolina Girl, everyone started jamming and singing to classic rock tunes!!! We witnessed an EPIC Rocky moment when Luke Edwards and Matt McConnell shadow boxed to “Eye of the Tiger”—it was fantabulous!!!!!!
We also got to send letters home to family! Each of us poured our hearts out into our own (VERY honest) letters. We are so excited for our families to hear about our trip so far!!!
Shout-out to the DOPEYS for giving us one of the best lunches of all time!!!
We inhaled the roast beef and cheese sandwiches on Hawaiian sweet rolls (YUM).
Meanwhile on the bus, we got dating advice from Dallas (although her brother Brooks Godbold disapproved), heard some JUICY First date stories (props to Bryson Bingham!!!), listened to animal noises for about 8 minutes—THAT woke us up!, and finally had the honor of hearing the Josh Kerns and Ty Brown Show. Ty ALSO showed us a new talent, his alter ego known as “Chip Donahue” which made us all laugh till we fell out of our seats!!!
Later on the Josh and Ty Show, there were guest stars Tristan Benson, Bryson Bingham, Brooks Godbold, and Trey Dry who taught us about meiosis (What??????).
We also picked up tons and tons of mail (CAN’T WAIT TO OPEN ALL OUR PACKAGES!!!!)
After arriving at the gorgeous park we began exploring the MAGNIFICENT waterfalls and getting goodies at the Visitors Center! On the way to the waterfalls we made some furry friends (including some squirrels and a BEAR CUB!!) Momma bear was not happy. . .
Yosimite was one of the most breath taking and inspiring places we have been so far. We made a quick stop at inspiration point to see one of the most famous landscapes in our nation. This trip has shown us the beauty hidden in our own backyard

| Feeling inspired |
Kayla Capps, as well as many others, cooled off by taking down heaps of ice cream (it was bigger than their heads!!!)
We finally arrived at the beautiful Tuolumne campground in Yosemite! TWB caught the attention of everyone in the campsite! We became familiar with all kinds of creatures tonight!!! This includes bears, mosquitoes, and (best of all) BOY SCOUTS!!!
For dinner we had a HUGE decision to make. Chicken noodle. . . ORRRR tomato soup . . .????? This came with (DRUMROLL) grilled cheese, watermelon and frosted sugar cookies—which were everyone’s favorite!!! All of this delicious comfort food reminded us of home! ;)

We didn’t get showers tonight, but luckily our scent wasn’t quite bad enough to attract animals…yet! :) We slept among the trees, the stars, and the .... bears? That's right, we had special boxes to put our stuff in because anything scented would attract bears to our campsite. Luckily, we didn't have any overnight visitors.
