Hello from the most magical place on earth!!!! DISNEYLAND!!!!!!
This morning we woke up at 6:30 to a breakfast consisting of fruit loops and frosted flakes and fruit and then headed over to Disneyland. When we arrived we checked in and all took a group picture at the entrance of the park. Everyone went over to the first ride of the day: Indiana Jones. The ride was very thrilling and was a great start to the day. After that we headed over to Space Mountain, which seemed to be a favorite for many people. We had a few participants conquer their fear of roller coasters. Buzz Lightyear's shooting challenge was the last ride we rode together as a group. The competition of the ride had us all on the edge of our seats. The winner of the Buzz Lightyear ride ended up being our counselor, Josh Kerns, with a high score of 396,400 points, clearing everyone else by at least 200,000 points.
After the third ride together as a group, we all split up into smaller groups and made our way around the park. It was a day full of magical adventure, magical laughter, and just an absolute magical experience in general. Every participant spent the entire day at Disney from about 8:00 - 11:00...basically 15 hours of fun!
For lunch and dinner, we got to choose where we wanted to go eat. Some of us chose to stay within the park while others went to places right outside the park such as IHOP and In-N-Out Burger.
Throughout the day we were challenged to take as many pictures as we could with the Disney characters dispersed throughout the park. Sophie Andrews and Meghan Maxey won the competition with a whopping number of sixteen characters.
There were many laughs today, but one that stood out was when we handed a man our digital camera to take a picture of us and his response was: “Man, I haven’t used one of these since 2000!” It was hard for us to hold in our laughter on this one.”
We ate, we rode, and we had a blast in the most magical place on earth.

At around 11:00 P.M., we met at the McDonalds right outside of the park and were shuttled back to Anaheim RV park. After spending all day in Disneyland it was nice coming back to this RV park and get a good night sleep. After 15 hours of magical fun, it took most of us little effort to fall asleep. Tomorrow we head to walk among the stars in Hollywood.
